Our 3rd visit we just love to come and relax - just enjoy the surroundings and go for walks. We visited the lead mine in Matlock Bath this time, it was better than expected. Very good tour guide - Adam. We look forward to coming back again

A lovely stay in a wonderful cottage with fabulous gardens and wonderful hosts. A great base from which to travel around Derbyshire, only wish we had much longer!

The cake lasted two days - yummy. Lovely flowers in the vase. Very pretty area, heard an owl in the garden. Whizzed to several venues for the first 4 days, then relaxed in the comfort as we saw the birds fluttering from tree to tree in the colourful garden

Such a super cottage in an amazing garden. If you are out towards Edale the Penny Pot Café next to the Station does wonderful soup and cakes. We also went to Dunham Massey - a bit far - but set up as it was in WWI as a hopsital fascinating. ..

We all really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage set in wonderful location, beautiful walks and bike trails right from the door (or at least the bottom of the garden!). Just what we were hoping for. Fantastic rides out to Parsley Hay and to Cassington

We have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Greenacres. The cottage itself is well appointed, spotlessly clean and met all our needs. The garden was fantastic and our kids loved roaming and exploring. We have all had a lovely time and would thoroughly recommend

Where to start! A wonderful welcome (and cake!), a beautiful, beautifully equipped cottage. The most original, magical garden, and two lovely hosts (+ Nell & chickens). It was lovely to meet the family and to buy Jasmines lemonade from her little shop

Great cottage to stay and visit Matlock, Leek, Matlock Bath, Buxton, and the High peak trail of course! Cottage wonderful and comfortable . We loved the local pub food . Will definitely be back.

Thank you for a perfect week away, this really is an ideal location for children. Our 2 yr old had a wonderful time exploring the garden - looking for frogs in the pond, playing in the tree house and been pushed for what seems like hours on the swing!
